Arabia Saudita, Pakistan e Turchia hanno concordato di attuare gli impegni di difesa collettiva previsti dall'accordo di difesa congiunta della Mecca, sottoscritto il 7 agosto 2026. Islamabad e Ankara si impegnano dunque a inviare forze ed equipaggiamento militare nella Penisola Arabica, mettendole a disposizione di Riyad.
